Angelo Consiglio has represented injured and disabled workers since 1993. A paralegal licensed by the Law Society of Ontario, he is a partner at AMC Legal Services in Toronto, where he handles workplace injury and disability appeals for clients across Ontario and Canada.
What I do
- WSIB appeals. I prepare objections and represent workers before the WSIB Appeals Services Division on entitlement, loss of earnings, permanent impairment (NEL) and return-to-work disputes.
- WSIAT hearings. I prepare written submissions and represent workers at oral hearings before the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal.
- CPP Disability. I handle reconsideration requests and appeals before the Social Security Tribunal for people denied CPP Disability benefits.
How I work
Disability and injury appeals are won on the evidence. I review every medical report and decision letter, identify exactly where the case went wrong, and build a submission that answers it directly. My clients deal with me personally from the first call to the final decision.
